Getting there

The local airports are
Marseille:
Most useful airport: 45-60 minutes from Le Thor and Bonnieux, with regular flights from Dublin and London. The airport has a really good website too!
Avignon:
20 minutes from Le Thor but with less frequent flights than Marseille.
Nimes:
50 minutes from Luberon but flights only from England.
Montpellier:
A little further, but on a good motorway, about an hour from Avignon and maybe 80mins from Le Thor.
Carcasonne:
This is much further away, but an option if the others aren’t. It takes about 2 hours to Avignon by a good motorway.



The main useful flights for those coming just for the weekend at the moment are:
From Dublin:
Ryanair –fly to Marseille on Friday morning at 9:20am
Aer Lingus -fly to Marseille on Saturday morning 7am

From London:
Ryanair-fly to Marseille (from Stansted) on Friday at 4pm; fly to Montpellier on Friday and Saturday at 6am; fly from Luton to Nimes on Friday at 11:20.
Easyjet-fly to Marseille (from Gatwick) on Friday at 2pm and on Saturday at 9:25am

From Luxembourg:
Twin Jet from Metz to Marseille, 6:30 am and 5:40pm Monday to Friday
Ryanair –fly from Frankfurt Hahn to Marseille on Friday at midday; to Montpellier at 7pm on Thursday evening.
Theres also a TGV from Paris (Gare de Lyon) every hour or so to Avignon which takes 2 ½ hours.
